Central Nottinghamshire Clinical Services (CNCS) Ltd was established in January 2005 as a Community Benefit Society to take forward the provision of unscheduled primary care services. We are a not for profit organisation who provide health and Social care for the local community on behalf of the NHS.
Building on the success of its predecessors Mansfield Medical Co-operative, CNCS has continued to develop whilst maintaining a strong reputation for providing quality healthcare. Any Savings generated are reinvested back into the organisation and used to develop our services for the benefit of our patients and community…. not for the profit of members
Since our inauguration in 2005, we have seen incredible growth which have seen us develop into a highly regarded 24/7 Urgent care provider. CNCS developments include:
o Single Point of Access /Clinical Navigator
o Multi Professional Learning in partnership with other local practices
o Kirkby Community Primary Care Centre in partnership with Building Blocks
o GP Led Health Centre and Walk In Facility – unfortunately due to financial circumstances beyond our control the GP Centre was withdrawn, however the Walk In facility was relocated to Kirkby Community Primary Care Centre
o Front Door Primary Care Streaming at A & E
o Career Support Service
o Care Homes Support Service
o Most recently the Out of Hours Service for Leicester City, Leicestershire County & Rutland
o CNCS Charity Fundraising Group established

Our success in keeping the care of our patients at the heart of everything we do is largely owing to our workforce. The involvement and consultation from our workforce is invaluable. Our staff forum provides an opportunity for discussion regarding employment issues and encourages partnership working between staff and management to mutually exchange views and information.
